This is your shot at $10,000 NZD to turn your concept into a working prototype – plus connect with industry experts and gain hands-on experience along the way.

Your idea could be the next big thing in scaling down big operational breakthroughs for smaller jobs, developing alternative species, or pioneering new models and products. If it boosts sustainability, enhances social impact, or makes forestry safer, we want it. New tools, smarter practices/processes, or groundbreaking tech – the possibilities are endless!

The Challenge kicks off Monday 7 April 2025 and runs until Saturday 7 June 2025. Enter your awesome idea yourself, with a friend, or as a group at www.microinnovation.co.nz via your smart phone or computer. No need for a fully polished concept – share your vision and estimated build costs (up to $10,000) and timeframe (12 weeks). Got more than one idea? Send them all in!
