Fast & Forward Forestry Expo 18-19 Nov 2022
Forest Growers Research were part of the inaugural event for the NZ Forestry industry, organised by the Forest Industry Contractors Association (FICA) and held in Rotorua. Showcasing technology, machinery and technical advancements specific to the forestry industry and how the industry has advanced from chainsaws and chaps to high tech and high spec mechanisation, it provided a great platform to provide an overview of various sectors across the industry for both the public and those involved in the forestry sector. At a charity auction dinner more than $40,000 was raised for forestry mental health to help the Forest Industry Contractors Association set up a programme to support mental wellbeing for those working in the forestry industry.
